A simple guide | Micro LWIR camera principles and advantages

A micro LWIR camera is a type of thermal imaging camera that operates in the long wave infrared (LWIR) spectrum, which ranges from 8 to 14 micrometers. A micro LWIR camera uses a microbolometer as an image sensor, which is an uncooled device that measures the temperature of each pixel by detecting the change in electrical resistance caused by infrared radiation. A micro LWIR camera has several advantages over other types of infrared cameras.
